Election Day Tips

Know where your polling place is located prior to election day.

Your precinct number is provided on your voter identification card. Compare the precinct number on your card with the polling place locations which are published on this website or in the newspaper on Sunday prior to election day.

Call us at 863-993-4871 to obtain the location of your polling place if you have moved but failed to notify our office of your new address.

It is a FELONY to vote in a precinct in which you do not live on election day.

The polls are open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Voters who are in line at 7 p.m. are entitled to vote and are permitted to do so.

Provide an acceptable form of identification.

Your Florida Driver's License is the best document to use as identification.

Study the candidates and issues prior to election day.

The sample ballot is advertised in the newspaper on Sunday and on this website prior to election day. Mark you choices on the sample ballot for use at your polling place location.

Request the assistance of our poll workers if you have any questions on election day.
